Is Fitness Crucial for Good Health and Happiness?
Irrespective of the age group you belong to, be it the teen age or youth, middle or old age it is a must to love and take care of your body. Doing proper exercises is crucial for your fitness with a fit body for good health, sound mind and happiness.
Fitness requires a systematic process with regular exercise to get and maintain a healthy body. So you need to connect yourself to a routine with regular exercise schedule. If your body is capable to do everything and also enjoy doing leisure activities as well, then you are physically fit. If you are fit you will find it easy to take on the stress and do some required work even in times that are adverse.
Physical fitness is all about good health of vital organs like heart, brain, lungs as well as muscles, tissues and all other the body parts. The fitness of the body is based on the physical restrictions that are put on the body and what all one could do in a certain lifestyle, like what you eat and your habits.

The workout must include all these components. The important point is every workout should begin with warm up exercises. When the body is warmed it actually puts the muscles in a suitable condition where they can hold the stress of rigorous exertive exercises. After the exertive exercises a few lighter stretching exercises must be done to cold down the body. Never do too much of exercises.
It is good to go for walk daily. But if you do the push-ups on a regular basis it may have adverse effects on the body. The schedule for physical activities must be planned in a manner where the body becomes prepared for all kinds of activities. Body must be competent to do simple as well as rigorous exercises. Do both cardiovascular as well as strength based exercises.
Begin with a schedule to do exercises twice or thrice a week. As the time passes you can increase the duration and frequency.
Along with the exercises that you do, you must also take care of your diet. For those who are exercising to shed the excess weight, take a diet which has low-calorie food and one that gives more strength to the body. On an average 240 to 400 calories are burnt when one does cycling and 740 to 800 calories are burnt while jogging.
Excess salt and sweets must be avoided to maintain good health. Alcohol, caffeine and nicotine must be strictly kept away. Drink a lot of water and try not to take too much of saturated fats in your diet.
Always remember to earnestly desire fitness, work for it regularly with enthusiasm and renewed energy, make yourself fit to be healthy and happy as long as you live!
