Happiness keeps the mind calm and peaceful which in turn makes a person healthy and then fitness could become the sure result with some effective physical exercise. So it is my firm belief that we have to master the art of making ourselves happy and joyous in the first place.

Our mind is the main control tower of our body and physical health. Have you realised that mental stress is the most probable cause of many of the diseases that hurt the present day mankind. The current health ailments do not leave young people too! Worries and stress do not improve our condition and there is absolutely no use of worrying and being stressful.
If one could manage the stress in an effective way and avoid the practice of worrying, the path to generating happiness is easy and achievable within a short time. But we need to master our mind with some good habits of steady deep breathing (pranayama), meditation and a few effective exercises.
Many instances we have seen where wealthy people fail to be healthy and lose their peace of mind and happiness. Some struggle so much in their zealous drive to earn quick money during their youth and having ignored their health are sadly pestered by ailments like hypertension, diabetes, arthritis to name a few, when they become rich. What a paradox?!
Happiness is something that we have the power to create from within ourselves. We have to develop a positive state of mind to motivate ourselves which could create a mindset that is conducive to generate happiness. One has to remove all the mental garbage and the load of baggage of old and bitter memories that are unnecessarily burdened on their mind.
Instead our minds should be filled with refreshing thoughts by constantly affirming ourselves with inspiring positive feelings and desires that can fire up our passions. Once your desire and passion are fired up you can materialise your desires and also achieve all your goals!
Usually we tend to forget to be grateful for the many gifts and talents we are blessed with. Feeling of gratitude is truly rewarding with HAPPINESS! Along with feeling of gratitude a generous loving, forgiving and forgetting mind surely generates instant joy and happiness. Many of our health problems are caused by the mental blocks created by our unforgiving or revengeful thoughts and feelings that are nursed in our minds.

Most of the unnecessary arguments and controversies result from taking small issues personally. If I know myself the comment or opinion of another person about me shouldn’t bother me at all. So by not taking anything personal my peace of mind is intact! - Don’t Assume
Never assume anything. Check with the proper person and take his advice on any matter of significance. - Do Not Judge
Never judge anyone just by looking at a person or by his/her appearance. We do not know what is the background of that person which might have led to their present condition. What circumstances they might have faced in the past which could have resulted in their present situation. We could be totally wrong in our thinking or judgement. - Do Your Best NOW
Always do your best NOW. Now is the most important and precious time which can lead to happiness. Do not think much about the past nor worry too much about the future. Whatever good seeds we are planting now will result in good things in the future that will give you happiness. So plan well and take proper best action now and reap happiness in the remainder of your life.

Some basic good habits with little discipline go a long way to a beautiful happier life. Yes in the beginning it could be a bit difficult to practice better healthy habits. But if you want to do your best now the present time couldn’t be more ideal.
